This is the coolest lightning video I've ever seen. I could watch the first 5 seconds over and over and over and over and over... and over again.
You get extra points if you know why the main bolt strikes from the ground up.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, I didn't notice the main volt striking from the ground up--and I have no idea why it would do it. I got to watch the video in super slo-mo with my super slo-modem! Still, it was a pretty cool video and I will confess that lightning is really amazing as long as it isn't striking right in your own backyard.
How about posting some pictures of yourself cause I miss you and I want to see how cute you are!

i think i remember learning that its a "return" of positive charges.
as soon as the negative charges from the clouds connect the path, the positive charges shoot upwards.
am i close?
